Daniel K. Fujimoto
Daniel K. Fujimoto is the Managing Attorney of the Bankruptcy and Eviction Departments at Steele LLP. Mr. Fujimoto has for over the last 28 years centered his practice on the representation of real estate secured creditors in Bankruptcy and eviction. Mr. Fujimoto is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and before the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Central Districts of California. Mr. Fujimoto was co-counsel in the landmark bankruptcy cram down case of Enewally v. Wash. Mut. Bank (In re Enewally), 368 F.3d 1165 (9th Cir. Cal. 2004).). In 2013, Mr. Fujimoto participated in the Central District of California’s Bar Rules Advisory Group (BRAG) where he was involved in completing a thorough review of the Court’s relief from stay rules and forms and providing recommendations for improving or updating both. In 2014, Mr. Fujimoto participated in the same court’s BRAG in completing a thorough review of the Court’s forms for individual chapter 11 cases (LBR F 2081-1 forms series) and providing recommendations for improvement. Mr. Fujimoto has spoken at national industry events such as the CMBA Western States Loan Servicing Seminar and has conducted onsite client trainings. Mr. Fujimoto is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States District Courts, and Bankruptcy Courts for all Districts in California.
Mr. Fujimoto was the Managing Bankruptcy Attorney for over twenty years at another Orange County mortgage banking law firm and was previously at a large eviction firm in Orange County.
