Steven K. Linkon
Mr. Linkon is an AV Rated attorney who has specialized the last 40 years in commercial and residential foreclosures, Chapter 11 reorganizations, and receiverships. Mr. Linkon served as a court-appointed receiver in a case filed by the State of Washington, Department of Financial Institutions, and in cases filed by the Federal Trade Commission and Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Linkon was in-house at Beverly Hills Savings during the successful workout of a major portfolio of distressed commercial real estate.
Between 1987 and 1993, Mr. Linkon was an instructor at the University of California, Irvine. He has also served as an expert witness for government agencies, including the United States Trustee, in the prosecution of cases involving foreclosure consultants; and in private lawsuits involving foreclosure issues. Mr. Linkon is a founding director of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum and past director of the California Receiver’s Forum. Mr. Linkon is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States District Courts for all Districts in California, Nevada, and Washington.
